​As a Certified Prevention Consultant, Nicole Storteboom has dedicated her talents to Prevention Works since 2001. During this time, she has had the opportunity to work in various capacities, playing a strong role in education, program coordination, fund development and team leadership.  It is through these experiences that Nicole has been able to perfect her craft and is looked to as an expert in providing high quality programs for youth and families.  She finds great joy in developing new strategies to organize and simplify systems for her team. When she is not providing leadership or inspiring her co-workers to greatness, Nicole is an avid reader, runner and most importantly enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three young daughters. As a family, they enjoy searching for the best ice cream, skiing with friends or finding their way to the closest beach.

What "tool" helps you get the job done?
GLUE

​Our environment is fast paced and often changing with the needs of the community. In my role, I often take great ideas from our team and then glue them into a concept.  While building relationships with funders, partners and our team, it is essential to have the glue to set up a strong infrastructure from the start. This strong adhesive substance helps me cement credibility, sustainability and trusting relationships with funders, partners and staff.
