MiKayla has returned to Prevention Works, where she completed her internship through Western Michigan University, as Operations Assistant.  After graduating with her bachelor's degree, she knew she wanted to revisit the world of non-profit and was inspired by the work of the staff and volunteers at Prevention Works.  She is extremely proud to be working for an organization that aims to educate and prevent unhealthy behaviors in youth and families.

When MiKayla is not in the office, you can find her teaching dance at a local dance studio.  She teaches a wide variety of dance genres and might even be seen busting a move with the Prevention Works staff!  MiKayla loves being an operations assistant by day and a dance teacher by night; she is thrilled to be part of the Prevention Works family!

​Whether I’m making to-do lists in the PW office, writing down choreography for the dance studio, or keeping track of my home grocery list – you will always find me with a notebook in hand! I use my notebook to keep the Prevention Works operations team organized and on track!
