Hailey Timmerman
Program Operations Assistant

My name is Hailey Timmerman. I am a Kalamazoo native and a student at Western Michigan University studying early childhood education. I am involved in a few organizations on campus such as You Beautiful Black Woman (YBBW) Registered Student Organization, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, and Future Educators Program. When I’m not at work, you can catch me shopping, travelling, or spending time with my friends and family.

I have been employed with Prevention Works since my sophomore year of high school. From facilitating my first site, I fell in love with Prevention Works and educating youth in specific. I have a strong desire to serve my community and can’t wait to see how I can fulfill that in my new role as Program Operations Assistant.

What "tool" helps you get the job done?
Snickers Bar

​Like their commercial says “you’re not yourself when you’re hungry”. As keeping the office full of snacks for our staff and program participants is one of my responsibilities, I make sure everyone is fed and always themselves. Just as a snickers bar keeps its consumer full and happy, I ensure that the office is always equipped with whatever they need so they are “full” of new ideas so we can all work towards giving people tools to make healthy decisions. ​
