In college, Beth sought out guidance from a career counselor on what direction her education should take. She knew that she loved to help people, talked a lot, and was volunteering multiple hours a week at various nonprofit organizations within the community, so when it was suggested she pursue a degree in communication and nonprofit leadership, she knew it was a perfect match.
Beth then found a calling to help others through work in Human Resources. She takes pride in being able to provide structure and support to associates to help them be successful in their roles. In constant pursuit of more knowledge, Beth stays up to date on HR news through reading articles, watching informative webinars, and going to seminars and workshops to advance her HR skills. New to Prevention Works, Beth is excited to develop the HR role and be part of an organization that does such amazing work in the community. When at home, Beth can be found pursuing her greatest passions in life, her family and friends. She enjoys watching movies, playing board/card games, reading, and coloring with her husband and young son, knows the words to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song and when able, likes to relax by binge watching Grey’s Anatomy. What "tool" helps you get the job done?
