Prevention Works for the Kalamazoo Community, Since 1996
Prevention Works develops and implements innovative prevention programs and strategies that give youth and families tools to make healthy decisions. Major programs address substance abuse prevention, violence prevention, social emotional development, family life skills, parenting, and adolescent health. Our programs are designed to be both educational and engaging. Participants can expect to build their knowledge and skills through the use of experiential learning activities, team building, role plays, group discussion, goal setting and behavior modification strategies.
